Daily emails and alerts

If you sign up, we keep your email address to send you a short daily email on weekday mornings with that day's prices, buy scale scores and top stories, and an alert when silver moves to Favorable on our buy scale. Those are the only things we use it for. We don't sell, rent or share your address with anyone.

Sign-ups and emails are handled by Buttondown, an email service, which stores your address on our behalf. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future alerts right away.

Visitor counts

We count visits with GoatCounter, which records page views, the referring site, and general browser, screen size and country information. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't collect personal information.

Other services

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and the chart library from cdnjs. These services receive your IP address when your browser downloads those files, as with any website. News headlines link to the original publishers, whose own privacy policies apply once you visit their sites.

Shop links

Links in our shop go to bullion dealers through affiliate networks (Awin and Impact). When you click one, the network and the dealer may set a cookie so the dealer knows we sent you, which is how we earn a commission. We don't see what you buy or any of your payment details; the dealer's own privacy policy covers your order.
